Overview
UF-AALR expects organizers, participants, authors, presenters, reviewers, speakers and partners to uphold academic integrity, ethical research practice and respectful professional conduct.
Academic Integrity
Submitted and presented work must be original, accurately represented and appropriately attributed. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, deceptive manipulation and misrepresentation are not acceptable.
Research Ethics
Where research involves human participants, personal data, biological materials or animals, contributors are responsible for obtaining appropriate ethics approval, consent and permissions where required.
Authorship, Funding & Conflicts
Authorship should reflect genuine scholarly contribution. Relevant funding, institutional support and conflicts of interest should be disclosed where applicable.
Responsible AI Use
AI-assisted tools may be used only in accordance with applicable conference, institutional and publication requirements. Contributors remain fully responsible for accuracy, originality, confidentiality and integrity. AI tools must not be listed as authors.
Professional Conduct
UF-AALR supports inclusive and respectful academic exchange. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive conduct or deliberate disruption is not acceptable at physical, virtual or hybrid events.
Concerns & Compliance
Suspected misconduct or ethical concerns may be reviewed by the relevant UF-AALR committee or referred to an appropriate institution, journal or publisher. Concerns may be reported to contactuf.aalr@gmail.com.
