2. Plagiarism & Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy

2.1 Plagiarism & Similarity Screening

UFCP does not tolerate plagiarism or misrepresentation of intellectual work. Submissions may be screened using similarity-detection tools, with similarity reports assessed contextually rather than by percentage alone. Unattributed copying, inappropriate paraphrasing, unauthorized text recycling, fabricated citations, or misuse of others’ ideas, data, figures, or results may result in editorial action.

2.2 Artificial Intelligence

UFCP recognizes that AI-assisted technologies may support legitimate scholarly activities. Their use must remain transparent, responsible, verifiable, and consistent with the requirements of the relevant journal, conference, publisher, or publication venue.
